                                                 About Us...

	Anthony "Tony" Zimmerman, President of A.Z.A. Homes is a lifelong resident of Northern Kentucky.   One year after completing High School, Tony started in the construction business as a Framing Carpenter in 1986.  In 1988, he decided to pull together his own crew and began his own business as a subcontractor doing framing for other local builders.  It was tough to get started and Tony managed to get his framing businesses up and running by taking a small cash advance on a Visa card.   He used the money to purchase the necessary equipment, tools, materials, and to make payroll until the company could generate some revenue.  After subcontracting with other business as a Framing Carpenter for almost 10 years,he began his own Home Building Company. 	Tony realized how important good, quality craftsmanship is to the basic structure of the house.  This is why today, Tony remains very active in the homebuilding process and vigorously oversees each and every phase of the process with extreme care and attention to the tiniest details.  Tony is a perfectionist when it comes to homebuilding.  This causes him to be very selective in the work he allows to be subcontracted out, and only relies on carefully selected subcontractors he knows will do the kind of quality work he demands.   A.Z.A. Homes contracts to build no more than 24 homes per year.   Tony likes to be personally involved in each home built from the design phase to final completion.  He works individually with each customer to customize a floor plan & specific design features to accommodate their own individuality.  The one area where Tony is not "hands on" is in the office. In 1996, he hired an office manager to oversee the model home and bookkeeping.  This allows for Amy, his wife and a RE/MAX Affiliates agent,  to concentrate on the sales area and gave Tony and Amy more time to spend with their sons, Anthony and Nathan.
